Two of the world's best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players, Acola and Miya, have released a new tier list that features some surprising changes. Pyra/Mythra, once a top-tier fighter, has dropped out of the top 15, landing at 17th place. Meanwhile, Luigi has risen through the ranks and now sits in the top 10, at 9th place. Yoshi, another character that might surprise some, is in 6th place, thanks to the prowess of Yoshidora, one of Japan's strongest players. Marth, a classic top-tier monster from Super Smash Bros. Melee, is at the bottom, in 82nd place, below even Ganondorf. The tier list discussion was conducted on Shogun's YouTube channel, but the conversation took place in Japanese. The list was created by pitting characters directly against each other, which resulted in a well-balanced tournament meta for the game. Despite discrepancies in power levels, most characters can perform well and make an appearance in the later stages of tournament brackets.
