In addition to ZhiCube, AI² Robotics has deployed the AlphaBot2 humanoid robot in a Chinese automotive factory. This marks a significant step forward in intelligent manufacturing. The robot is handling quality checks, assembly, logistics, and maintenance. This is the first full-scenario validation of a domestically developed embodied AI model in China’s automotive sector.
The AlphaBot2 is powered by AI² Robotics’ Alpha Brain system, enabling advanced spatial intelligence, rapid learning, and full-body control. The robot can operate across diverse tasks without prior training and quickly adapt to new or changing environments. Its hardware features 360°×360° spatial sensing, over 34 degrees of freedom, a waist- and leg-lifting mechanism, and a vertical working range of 0–240 cm.
With a 700 mm single-arm reach and over six hours of battery life, the AlphaBot2 is built for extended, uninterrupted operations. Data collected during real-world deployment feeds back into GOVLA, continuously improving spatial intelligence, precision, and task-specific understanding. This learning loop allows AlphaBot2 to operate more efficiently and reliably in complex manufacturing scenarios, positioning it as a versatile, general-purpose intelligent robot for industrial applications.
